This piece explores the potential for misinformation in the practice of storytelling, and the notion of pseudo-folklore.

Scaled to the size of a child's hand, the book format ironically plays to the pedagogoical function of storytelling, 'educating' children with the misinformation and often false aphorisms we can associate with old wives' tales. Working from the metaphor of 'spinning a tale', the words are stitched into the cloth.
